Cafes in Bergen (part 1)
Bergen is full of cozy little cafes. They're everywhere. Take a normal street and you'll find at least five cafes per hundred meter. No kidding. I'll make a serial of pictures from my favorite places.
Today we went to 'Zupperia', its a cafe/soup kitchen that serves the best soup (tomato soup with pouched egg) in Bergen. It's under the umbrella of the arts and crafts museum and decorated with ancient china porcelain and modern glass art.

You're right, Linda: Zupperia is a great cafè, and their alentejo soup is a always a winner (even though my friend Helmetguy thinks it's a bit on the spicy side).I don't know how to pronounce "alentejo" so I allways end up pointing on the menu like retard - a bit annoying really.
I'm looking forward to read about more of your favorite places. To give the readers of this blog (both of them) the full picture I'm considering starting my own photoseries: Crap Cafès in Bergen.
Keep reading this blog for hotspots and notspots in the city of Bergen.

That's great! I think this blog needs both, hotspots and notspots... I'm very interested to see the notspots... Will Hotel Hordaheimen be mentioned? I could also suggest this place that I forgot the name of... where all the drunks go... they have a jukebox with Skeeter Davies' "End of the World"... Great song... stinky place. (I bet you think the song stinks too...)
I might drop by the cafè at Hordaheimen on my way to the place you've forgotten the name of, Børs Cafè. Other notspots include the cafê at Sundt, Ugla and Danmarkskroen.
I personally like the Svotskonïnægenstraagenstein but the Fūlgstfaaöūæūœǿỗõïrt is much better when it comes to coffee...
Is that a pic of you and They Came For Me?
